Geocel

Geocel is a geosynthetic made of HDPE.

This product has a honeycomb (or rhomboid) structure and folds similar to an accordion for portability.
Geocels are materials used for stabilizing slopes to reduce attenuate landslides.
Using geocels, sloping surfaces can be covered to provide a space to be filled with peat, drainage materials, or concrete.
(This process is also called biotechnical slope protection)
The retainers used in the past for this purpose were such materials as concrete or steel, which were neither aesthetic nor environment-friendly.
Geocels are available in smooth and perforated variants, the second of which is used for water conveyance.
