PVC geomembrane sheets are a geosynthetic product and consist of flexible plastic sheets with high tensile strength.

PVC Geomembrane Sheet: How to use and install

The edges of the sheet are fused together using a heat gun, creating a uniform and impermeable surface.

If the membrane is expected to be in contact with soil, a geotextile or felt layer is spread under it as drainage and protection for the membrane.
